Chandler, Arizona-- Despite losing the first game of the afternoon to the Glendale College Gauchos, 5-0, the CGCC Lady Coyotes Softball Team bounced back with a 5-4 win in dramatic fashion.

The Coyotes were powered by home runs from Camryn Quilling and a clutch late inning home run from Greer "G-Money" West. The Coyotes needed all the runs they could get as they narrowly squeaked by the Gauchos who had multiple chances to score late in the game. It was the late inning defense by the Coyotes that secured themselves the victory.

The Coyotes record now moves to 13-19 as they prepare to face off against Scottsdale Community College at home on Saturday afternoon at 12 and 2 PM.
