Softball Wins Both in Home Opener

Chandler, Arizona-- With the uncertainty of whether or not the Softball team would be able to compete last season swirling around the air, Chandler Gilbert College Head Softball Coach, Bry Norris, was more than excited to get this season started with a lot more solid footing. The softball squad was more than prepared for their home opener against Arizona Western College on Tuesday afternoon, winning both games of the doubleheader 13-12 and 15-5. The team totaled 15 hits in each game, only striking out three total times. 

Camryn Quilling lead the way on opening day with a home run in each game for the Coyotes softball team. Their regular season is now 2-0 as they prepare for another doubleheader at Paradise Valley College on Saturday.
