Chandler, Arizona-- The Coyote Volleyball Team accomplished so much on Friday evening with the 3-1 win over Pima CC in Tucson, Arizona. The Yotes came out strong and captured the first two sets behind big performances from Lindsey Yale and Celestial Miller. In game three, the Pima Squad picked up the win behind some strong serving and net play. The Yotes regrouped and held on to win the fourth and capture the match.

The Yotes improved to 17-3 on the season and with the win Captured the ACCAC Conference Championship. CGCC will also be hosting the Region 1 Championship next Thursday through Saturday at the Coyote Center.

"It was a big night for our program and was the culmination of a lot of hard work by our student-athletes. I am so happy and proud for all of the players." Stated Coach Nelson.

He added, "this is a great night for our entire athletic department."

The Yotes will play at 7 pm Thursday.
