Chandler, Arizona-- The CGCC Coyotes Women's Golf team has been having a historic season, despite being a team made up of only two players and one coach. They came in to the season with little to no expectations but have played so well they have put the entire country on notice.

Hope Morales closed with an 81 for a 4th place finish and Sophie Coleman finished 6th with a final round 85 and they are both off to Nationals May 10-14 at the Plantation Bay Golf Course in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Both Morales and Coleman are two of 15 qualifiers from the ACCAC and will certainty make CGCC proud but the entire state of Arizona proud as well. Both Coyote golfers were recognized recently for their tremendous seasons by being named 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-Region. The CGCC community is so proud of both of these young women and we cannot wait to see how they finish at the National Tournament.
