Chandler, Arizona-- It did not take long for the Chandler Gilbert College Men's Soccer team to earn their first victory of the season, in fact, it only took them playing in one game to do so. The Coyotes faced off against Paradise Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon in the season opener and came away with a 1-0 victory over the pumas.

Michael Johansson scored the lone goal in the game off an assist from Tyler Niemann in the 24th minute of the first half. The second half was filled with tough defense from both teams as the Coyotes were able to hold on to the finish. Their record stands at 1-0 as they prepare to host South Mountain Community College on Thursday afternoon in the home opener.
