Chandler, Arizona-- The Chandler Gilbert Men's Soccer team hosted Glendale College in the Coyotes home opener Saturday night. The Coyotes applied pressure the entire 90 minutes, absolutely dominating the time of possession throughout their 3-0 victory.
Midway through the first half, Elias Guzman was able to sneak through a cluster of Glendale defenders to find himself alone one on one with the visiting goal keeper, the result was the first goal of the game for the Coyotes as Guzman striked it towards the back of the net.
Lewis Upton and Carlos Carrion also had goals in the second half for the home team, adding some insurance scoring for the Coyotes.
The Coyotes record advances to 2-1 as they have a little time off before they host Phoenix College on Saturday at home.
