Chandler, Arizona-- The CGCC Coyotes Men's Soccer team faced off with conference rival Scottsdale Community College on Saturday night, falling to the Fighting Artichokes, 1-0. It was an early goal from Scottsdale that put the visiting team up one goal midway through the first half and the second half stall tactics that earned Scottsdale the victory. For the second 45 minutes of the game, the Scottsdale squad looked not to attack, and to not be aggressive but to sit back and load up defensively. This strategy worked even though the Coyotes had multiple chances within the 18 foot box, they could not capitalize.

The Coyotes record is now 2-4 as they get ready to travel to Yavapai College on Thursday. The Coyotes soccer club is hoping to finish strong with the chance of hosting a playoff game still up for grabs.
