Chandler, Arizona-- Despite losing the first game of their Saturday doubleheader against Eastern Arizona College, the Coyote Softball team responded with a solid 5-4 win. Coming back to claim a close victory after losing their first game of the day showed just how tough and resilient the squad can be. The Coyotes were lead by strong individual performances and one RBI each from Camryn Quilling, Greer West, Summer Duran and Brianna Jackson. Madison Russel was on the mound for the Coyotes throwing a complete 7 inning game and striking out three batters.

The Coyotes record now moves to 6-8 as they prepare to take on Yavapai College on the road on Tuesday.
