Men's Golf takes overall second at Estrella Mountain Classic
The Men's golf team takes first in a combined ACCAC event and 1st overall in the D2 side.
In a 36 hole event hosted by Estrella Mountain at the Junior National Club in Goodyear Arizona the Coyotes come out with a strong showing.
Heading into day 2 with a team 1 stroke lead in front of DI Eastern Arizona the Coyotes finish 1 stoke back for an overall second place. The Coyotes were the leading DII school in the field finishing 4 stokes ahead of South Mountain Community College

The Yotes were led by sophomore Champ Hettich who finished second in the field with a -5 two day total. Right behind Champ was Joey Bernier who came in -4 in the tournament.
Alex Lobeck's return to the Coyotes has started strong. After a few years break from college coaching he has engineered a team that is showing early signs of competing at the highest levels.
