Chandler-Gilbert Community College erupted for 18 runs on 18 hits and rolled past Paradise Valley Community College, 18–3, on Tuesday night (Feb. 17, 2026) in Chandler.

Big early inning set the tone
CGCC effectively decided the game right away, exploding for **11 runs in the first inning**. After PVCC managed to scratch across **two runs in the top of the first**, they answered with a relentless string of extra-base hits and run-producing at-bats to seize complete control.

Chandler-Gilbert kept piling on with **three runs in the second**, **three more in the third**, and **one in the fourth**, building an 18–2 cushion before PVCC added a lone run in the fifth.



- H. Echternac** went **3-for-4** with **3 runs** and **2 RBI**, tripling as part of the Cougars' big night.
- O. Rios** finished **3-for-4** with **2 runs** and **2 RBI**, adding a **double**.
- A. Fierro** reached base repeatedly, going **2-for-3** with **3 runs** and a walk, plus a stolen base.
