Chandler-Gilbert Community College Dominates Mesa Community College in Women's Soccer Match

On September 16, 2025, Chandler-Gilbert showcased a commanding performance against Mesa Community College (MCC) at The Coyote Pitch in Chandler, Arizona. The match concluded with a decisive 3-0 victory for CGCC, improving their season record to 2-3, while MCC fell to 1-5-1.

The game kicked off with CGCC's Allie Roseberry scoring the opening goal right at the start, assisted by Brinlee Smith. The early lead set the tone for CGCC's dominance throughout the match. Alivia Waite extended the lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal in the 18th minute. The first half ended with CGCC firmly in control.

In the second half, Isabella Misquez sealed the victory for CGCC with a penalty kick in the 74th minute, bringing the final score to 3-0. Misquez's goal underscored CGCC's offensive prowess, as they outshot MCC 15-7, with nine shots on goal compared to MCC's zero.

MCC's defense, led by goalkeeper Ellie Huish, faced relentless pressure from CGCC's attackers. Huish managed to make eight saves, but the offensive onslaught proved too much to handle.
