College of Southern Nevada Triumphs Over Chandler-Gilbert Community College in a Thriller.

On November 14, 2025, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) faced off against Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) in a gripping basketball game at the Coyote Center. CSN narrowly defeating CGCC with a final score of 61-57.

The game began with CSN taking an early lead, ending the first quarter at 17-11. They maintained their momentum into the second quarter, outscoring CGCC 12-10, and went into halftime with a 29-21 advantage. The third quarter saw CSN further extending their lead by scoring 18 points to CGCC's 11, bringing the score to 47-32.

However, CGCC mounted a formidable comeback in the fourth quarter, scoring an impressive 25 points. Despite their efforts, CSN managed to hold on to their lead, securing the victory with a final score of 61-57.

Key players for CSN included Saroiya Ajomale, who led the team with 22 points, and Trista Mabry, who contributed a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Alanna Jackson was also a significant presence on the court, dominating the boards with 15 rebounds.

For CGCC, Addyson Horsley was the standout performer, scoring 20 points and providing 7 assists. Melanie Ortiz and Makailyn Horsley also made notable contributions with 10 points each.

In terms of team statistics, CSN had a slight edge in field goal percentage, shooting 30.4% compared to CGCC's 28.1%. CSN also out-rebounded CGCC 49-43, which proved crucial in their victory. However, CGCC had a better performance from beyond the arc, making 10 three-pointers compared to CSN's 5.
