Chandler-Gilbert rolls past Yakima Valley, 83–43, behind balanced scoring and perimeter shooting
CHANDLER, Ariz. (Dec. 18, 2025) — Chandler-Gilbert Community College controlled the game from the opening quarter and never let up, cruising to an 83–43 win over Yakima Valley on Thursday night at 2626 E. Pecos Rd. in Chandler.
Chandler-Gilbert set the tone early with a 22–7 first quarter, then matched that output in both the second and third periods (22 points each quarter) to build a commanding lead before closing out the final frame.
Yakima Valley's best stretch came in the fourth, when it edged the hosts 18–17, but the outcome was already decided after Chandler-Gilbert's three straight 22-point quarters.

Chandler-Gilbert had multiple double-figure scorers and steady production throughout the rotation. Addyson Horsley led all scorers with 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting, adding 4-of-4 at the line and an active defensive night with 4 steals.
