CHANDLER, Ariz. (Jan. 31, 2026) — Chandler-Gilbert Community College used a blistering first half and elite perimeter shooting to roll past Glendale Community College, 85–40, Saturday afternoon at the Coyote Center.

Chandler-Gilbert seized control immediately, jumping out to a 23–8 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 46–19 at halftime. Any hopes of a Glendale comeback were erased in the third, when Chandler-Gilbert posted its biggest quarter of the day (26 points) to push the margin to 72–25 entering the fourth. Glendale's best stretch came late with a 15-point fourth quarter, but the outcome was long decided.

The story of the game was Chandler-Gilbert's efficiency and spacing. The Coyotes shot 50.0% (27-of-54) from the field and an outstanding 54.8% (17-of-31) from three-point range, while also going a perfect 14-of-14 at the free-throw line. Chandler-Gilbert also controlled the glass and moved the ball well with 23 assists.
